Ferran Buj is an interdisciplinary artist based in Montréal. His work engages immersive and multiscreen installation, interactive media, and critical approaches to AI infrastructures. His current work brings together social realism and object-oriented approaches to develop multiscreen ecologies that examine how images, systems, and viewers co-produce meaning. Emerging from early interest with generative AI during the COVID-19 pandemic, he now adopts a critical position toward dominant techno-utopian narratives, including the eschatological rhetoric of AI accelerationism and its political entanglements.
